REGISTRATION


  • How can I register?

    You can register online.

  • What am I entitled to as a participant?

    Please refer to "Runner Entitlement" for entitlement.

  • How do I know if my entry has been accepted?

    You will receive an email confirmation slip upon your successful registration. Registered participants can also retrieve their confirmation slip on the website.

  • Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?

    Participants who withdraw from the race before 2359hrs on 31 March 2015 will enjoy a 50% refund of the paid registration fees. Refund will be made via cheque. Withdrawal notifications must be in writing to info@singaporenighttrail.com.sg. Telephone and verbal notifications will not be accepted. Withdrawal after 31 March 2015 will not be accepted and no refund of registration fees paid.

  • Can I make changes to my personal particulars after registration?

    Yes. You can make changes to your particulars by sending us an email to info@singaporenighttrail.com.sg.

  • Can I transfer my race registration if I wish to withdraw from the race?

    All race registrations are strictly non-transferable.

  • Is GST included in the registration fee?

    Yes. Registration fee is inclusive of 7% GST.

  • Is there an age limit to the participate in the race?

    The 6km, 12km & 18km competitive race and 3km Obstacle Race is open to participants 14 years old and above only. Parent & Child Team Obstacle races are open to children 4 and above. All participants below 18 years of age need to complete the indemnity form and seek parental or guardian consent before participating in the event.

  • Can I participate in multiple event?

    Yes. You can sign-up for as many events as you like but it is your responsibility to check the race times to ensure that there will be no clash in the timings.

ABOUT THE RACE


  • When is the Singapore Night Trail?

    The Singapore Night Trail will be held on 2 May 2015 (Saturday), 3.00pm.

  • Where will the race be held?

    The race will be announced soon.

  • How many Race Categories are there?

    There are 11 categories:
    - 18km Men’s competitive
    - 18km Women’s competitive
    - 12km Men’s competitive
    - 12km Women’s competitive
    - 6km Men’s competitive
    - 6km Women’s competitive
    - 3km Obstacle Race Open competitive
    - 3km Obstacle Race Parent & Child competitive
    - 1.5km Obstacle Race Parent & Child competitive

  • Will I get race timing?

    All participants will get their race timing. Winners of the trail race will be identified based on gun time. Winners of the obstacle course races will be identified based on chip time (as the race will take place in waves of 8 - 12 people.) The timing of the parent and child team will be based on the chip time of the child.

  • Is there a baggage deposit at the start point?

    Yes. There is a baggage deposit area at the start point. Whilst maximum care and security will be enforced, the organizer will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items or delay in retrieving the bags. Participants are advised to travel light.

  • Can I skate or cycle during the race?


    No.

  • Will there be an official photographer?

    Yes. Photography and/or videography will be taken during the event for news and publicity purposes by the official photographer and/or videographer, and may be used for print and on online/electronic platforms of Pink Apple Pte Ltd. Pink Apple Pte Ltd owns all rights to the photographs and video recordings. If you do not wish to have any photographs or video recordings taken of you, please inform the Organiser at the event site.

  • What if I am injured during the race or otherwise unable to finish the race?

    Please approach the nearest first aiders deployed along the route. Participants who require immediate medical attention may alert the route marshals.

  • Is there a cut-off time for the race?

    There is a cut-off time of 4hours for 18km, 2.5hours for 12km and 1.5hrs for 6km.
    Only participants who finish the race within the cut-off time will get a finisher’s medal.

  • Is there compulsory equipment required for the race?

    Night trail runners have to wear a head-lamp, carry a mobile phone and wear the race bib. A LED head-lamp will be provided in the race kit together with the race bib.

  • Is the run suitable for new runners?

    The run is a “fun” event intended for both beginners and more experienced runners. Runners who are not familiar with running in the trails are advised to train off-road to be familiar with the different terrain.
